The night kicked off with “The Doctor of Professional Wrestling” Mike Blankenship, Ph.D. and “The Excellence of Elocution” Walter Dixon presenting the 2025 Show of the Year – Next Level Award to Tri County DAV for Grave Consequences!

Walter Dixon then welcomed special guest ring announcer “Perfect” Pat to the show.

Chaos erupted early as Nikeem the Dream revealed Ethan Heyre was absent… and Brutus followed up by saying he had no partner either as "The Guiding Light" Michael Gabriel wasn't in the building. Nikeem shocked everyone by introducing his mystery partner—“Hyper Rage” Chris Kendrick, making his EPW return! Moments later, Brutus not to be out done announced that he too found a replacement in EPW Heavyweight Champion “The Vision” Zander Storm, and the match was on!
